Back to Basics

This week at EFK we are taking a trip back to basics. Many times in class (as well as in life) we take basic skills for granted. When we ignore the importance of reviewing and re-visiting basic ideas, then more complex skills gain a higher degree of difficulty. In class, we like to think of our Basics like a Lego tower. If the tower has a weak base, the more things we build on it the more likely it is to fall over. However, if we ensure there is a strong base with lots of care put into its construction, the rest of the tower will remain a much stronger structure. Using this idea, classes this week will be geared around ensuring our basics are still as strong as ever so we can keep training to our highest level!
